Culinary Commentary
If you find yourself in a position where you need to say grace for a meal, my recommendation is what I've always known as the 'Burns Grace', although apparently it's also called the 'Selkirk Grace'.
Traditional Text
Some hae meat and canna eat,
and some wad eat that want it,
but we hae meat and we can eat,
and sae let the Lord be thankit
Modern Text
Some have meat and cannot eat,
and some would eat that want it,
but we have meat and we can eat,
so let the Lord be thankit.
Cheers,
